Future Tech Open House - April

Curious about AI, robots, or how tech is changing jobs in Logan, but not sure where to start?

UiLab’s Future Tech Open House is your hands-on, welcoming space to explore emerging technology at your own pace. Each month, you can try out tools, see automation and robotics up close, ask questions, and chat with UiLab experts about what it all means for you, your work, or your business.

You’ll walk away with a stronger digital confidence (not just theory – real, practical exposure) and a clearer sense of how AI, automation and robotics are shaping careers, industry and community.

Test and explore premium AI tools at dedicated stations, try what works for your classroom or business without paying or signing up, and get honest guidance from UiLab AI experts. No sales pitch, just knowledge and exploration.

For Educators: Continue Your AI Journey

If you’ve joined UiLab’s Teacher AI Toolkit sessions and want more in-person time to go deeper, Future Tech Open House is for you. Each month, you’ll have the chance to sit down with UiLab AI experts to:

  • Ask AI‑specific questions about your classroom or school context

  • Get extra support with tools, workflows or prompts discussed in the Toolkit sessions

  • Explore new, practical ideas you can take straight back to your students or staff

It’s a relaxed, conversational space – bring your laptop, your questions, and anything you’re stuck on. Our experts will be on hand to help you turn ideas into action and keep building your AI confidence over time.

For Manufacturing & Industry: Explore Automation & Robotics

If you’re a Logan manufacturing business looking to automate processes or understand what’s realistically possible in your factory, Future Tech Open House is also your chance to connect with our expert speakers, who have many years hands-on experience automating real manufacturing environments, and:

  • Where automation could make sense in specific businesses

  • Learn what different types of robots can (and can’t) do on the factory floor

  • Get honest, practical guidance on where to start – without the sales pitch

You’ll also be able to test and play with robots in person, so you can see how they move, what they can handle, and imagine how they might fit into your own operations.

This space is also for Logan residents, youth, jobseekers, other industry leaders, and anyone who’s simply tech‑curious. No experience needed, just bring your questions and your curiosity.
